For this project, the artist Esté MacLeod creates stylised florals all based around the colour blue.
Techniques are focussed on using only aquarelle pencils and water-soluble crayons to explore ways to create different blues, to play with depth of colour and colour values with an emphasis on translucency and opacity.
She shows how the colours can be applied to paper and drawing using paint washes and stamping techniques.
