Join me on this short course as we explore different processes and techniques to create nine unique cat portraits. One, Two, Three, Let's Paint Cats.

What You'll Get

Materials

Basics

  • Basic sketchbook or drawing paper, pencil and fine liner markers

  • Watercolour or mixed media paper sketchbook or sheets. I use Hahnemuhle A4 sketchbooks

  • Watercolours. Use what you have, I use limited colours from QoR's basic set of 12 colours.

  • White designer gouache (use permanent, not zinc white).

  • Black Inktense or Caran D'ache Museum aquarelle pencil.

  • A medium sized potato and knife for cutting

  • Extra regular copy or drawing paper for stencils

  • Larger watercolour paper sheet I use Hahnemuhle Cold Press 300g
