Basics
Basic sketchbook or drawing paper, pencil and fine liner markers
Watercolour or mixed media paper sketchbook or sheets. I use Hahnemuhle A4 sketchbooks
Watercolours. Use what you have, I use limited colours from QoR's basic set of 12 colours.
White designer gouache (use permanent, not zinc white).
Black Inktense or Caran D'ache Museum aquarelle pencil.
A medium sized potato and knife for cutting
Extra regular copy or drawing paper for stencils
Larger watercolour paper sheet I use Hahnemuhle Cold Press 300g
Paintbrushes
Paintbrushes suitable for watercolour, In the course demo I use Silver Silk 88 Ultra round size10 (optional size 6).
Flat brush.
Optional dagger or angled and comb brush.
Other
Dip pen
Masking fluid in applicator
Potato and knife for printing (butternut squash or yam can be used instead).
I use a disposable paper palette for the mixing of watercolour paint.
