Explore Still Life 1 Self-Paced

Would you like to indulge in some creative ‘me time’? Join me for a still life themed course filled with colour and combinations of creative processes that will inspire and enthuse.

This is the most popular of all the online courses I've created over the last nine years and although the intention is to put together an Explore Still Life 2 in the not too distant future, there's just too much great content in this course to just simply retire it. I don't have Explore Still Life 1 available directly from my course page any more, I share the link sparingly or on request so congratulations for finding it here.

As background, when I began teaching online courses back in 2015, the first theme covered was still life. Explore Still Life 1 is the culmination of my ongoing explorations with materials, techniques and processes as well as feedback from students. I’ve done a lot of experimenting in order to develop new techniques with different types of acrylics and paint mediums in combination with mixed media.

The result is this course where I will show you dynamic processes in various water based media to create expressive artworks. You will be doing all kinds of explorative projects where play is encouraged and experimenting with combined media will lead to new discoveries.

The techniques and processes will build upon each other to develop your individual creativity and increase your knowledge of materials and techniques.
