The three colours of the eighth prompt of the special March #coloricombo challenge are inspired by Harriet Powers.

Harriet Powers (1837-1910) was born in rural Georgia as a slave, she was an American quilt maker. She used traditional appliqué techniques to record local legends, bible stories, and astronomical events on her quilts. Only two of her quilts are known to have survived

Colour Combination

The colours for this prompt are Pumpkin, Merlot and Slate Grey.

How To Use The Colours

Create with the limited colours as shown, combine them with a dark colour like black, deep brown or blue and a light colour such as white, grey or other neutral tint. Doing this helps to keep the focus on the specific colour selection of each prompt.
